What have I done during the pandemic? As a writer, I’ve mostly done what I always do. Mornings I write. Afternoons I walk and enjoy the spring flowers in people’s gardens. I run necessary errands–as long as I can use a drive-thru. On sunny days you may find me on my porch visiting with a neighbor–six feet apart, of course. Others do my grocery shopping. I’m very grateful, but I can’t wait to return to the grocery store myself.
I really like the quote, though I don’t think it is from C. S. Lewis.
Love your surprise ending in this post! Yes, I agree. But definitely a need for people to read the Screwtape Letters and share in a study about the turmoil created in the current pandemic. Much can be learned from his witty understanding of satan’s whereabouts in this world.
