Back in March I entered my Torch of Courage book proposal into the prestigious Cascade Awards Contest. The winners will not be announced until August, however, I received news yesterday that Torch of Courage is a finalist in the young adult category. There are a lot of steps in getting a book published, however, this is very encouraging.

How very exciting! I must say, I am not surprised. So many true stories that need to be told. Especially encouraging in these trying times we find ourselves in. Stories of such brave overcomers in the midst of such hardships. Just wonderful! Cant wait to hear more!
